Age Limit:
The minimum number of the age for the candidates is 18 years and the maximum number of the age for the candidate should be 23 years. The candidates who are from the SC, ST and Women category are given the age relaxation of 5 years. As per the norms of the government, there will be age relaxation for the ex service man. The candidates will have age limit of 28 years for the post of Home Guard. The candidate should not be more than 43 years for the group D post.
Odisha Police Eligibility Criteria -Educational Skill:
Candidate must be 12th passed or its equivalent from some famous Board or University of India. Candidate must be able to speak, read and write in Odisha and must have taken Odisha as one of the subject during school days or have passed examination in Odia Language or its equivalent from famous University of India.
The name of the candidate must be registered in any one of the Employment exchange of concerned district or covering the district for which the candidate can apply for the post of Constable before the publication of the advertisement for recruitment. In more than one Employment Exchange, the candidate should register his or her name. Candidate with more than one spouse living will be rejected. The candidate should have only one spouse.
