About Jai Prakash University (JPV) : –Jai Prakash University (JPV) is a University in Chhapra, Bihar. The University was set up on 22.11.90 by the sanctioning of Section 3(b) of Bihar State Universities Act, 1976 with its Head Quarters at Chapra, in the wake of Carving it out from the at that point, Bihar University (now B.R.A. Bihar University) Muzaffarpur. The University was named in memory of opportunity Freedom fighter Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan.
