NDA 2020 Application Form, UPSC NDA 2020 Notification Apply Online: – NDA which is one of the important national level examinations is organized to hire eligible and talented aspirants in the Indian Defense Forces. Union Public Service Commission which organizes the NDA exam in India recruits the creamy candidates in the Indian Army, Indian Air force and Indian Navy. The examination of NDA is conducted twice in a year. Lot of candidates takes part in the NDA exam to secure their career. The interested candidates can submit their applications through online mode from the certified website of the UPSC. The aspirants are advised to fill the UPSC NDA 2019 application form with whole attention. In case, you submit the form then after that you cannot make any changes or corrections.
The aspirants will also need to upload the scanned copies of latest photographs and signatures. Finally, the aspirants need to accept the declaration and take a print out of the filled application form for future purpose. The candidates should keep the hard copy of the application form with themselves only.

- Start date of application process: 09th January 2020
- Last date of application process: 4th February 2020
- Release date of application process: 1 or 2 weeks before the exam
- NDA Examination date: 22nd April 2020
- Result declaration date: May 2020
For NDA 2
- Release date of Official Notification: 7th August 2020
- Start date of Application process: 7th August 2020
- Last date of Application process: 03 September 2020
- Release date of Admit Card: 1 or 2 weeks before the exam
- Examination date: November 2020
- Result Announcement date: November 2020
NDA 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Age limitation
Aspirants who are unmarried and who are male can apply for NDA 2020.
- For NDA I, candidates must have born between 2nd July 2000 to 1st July 2003.
- For NDA II, candidates should have born between 2nd January 2001 to 1st July 2004.
Educational Qualification
For National Defense Academy & for 12th Cadet Entry Scheme at Indian Naval Academy: The candidates must have been 12th passed or its equivalent examination with physics and mathematics from any state education board or university.
For Army Wings of National Defense Academy: Candidates should be 12th passed or its equivalent exam passed which should be organized by state education board or any university. All the candidates who are 12th passed or equivalent can apply for the NDA.
Physical Standards
The candidates should be physically fit according to the guidelines set by the Naval Academy examinations and National Defense academy.
The candidates who have resigned or withdraw in the past from any training academies of Armed forces in terms of disciplinary grounds are not eligible and they should not apply for NDA.
Application fee
The candidates need to submit the application charges.
For the candidates who belong to General and OBC category should pay Rs. 100
Candidates from SC/ST class should pay no fees and even the sons of JCOs/NCOs/Ors have to pay no fees.
The candidates need to pay fees through online mode.
The candidates can pay application charges through any branch of SBI in offline mode also.
NDA 2020 Exam Pattern
The candidates will have to give NDA exam in offline mode and there will be MCQ type questions in NDA exam. For each wrong answer there will be penalty taken. Candidates can use any black ball pen and no other pens to mark for their answers. The examination round will have two parts – Mathematics and General Ability Test.

NDA Selection Rounds
There are three stages in which the NDA/NA will be conducted
- Written Test
- Personal Interview
- Medical Review by command Hospital
On the basis of the marks obtained in the selection stages, the candidates will get selected. The interview will be completed in 2 stages – stage 1 and stage 2. In the stage 1, the candidates will have to face the rounds – Picture Perception and Description Test & Officer Intelligence Rating. In the stage 2, the candidates will have to face the Psychology test, Group Testing Officer tasks, personal interview and Group discussion. In 4 to 5 days these test will be conducted.
NDA 2020 Exam Syllabus
The candidates are now informed that the NDA 2020 examination syllabus has been separated in two parts – Mathematics and General Ability Test. The General Ability Test comprises of various questions from varieties of topics like Chemistry, Current Affairs, Physics, GK, English, General Science, and English.

I cleared NDA exam and even the SSB and medical and my name appeared at 469 in the merit list but never got the call letter…..What more should I do now after clearing each and every stage??
